Terms of Endangerment
Effective October 7, 2026. The short version: be 18+, do not lie on your rap sheet, do not be a menace, and remember that verification is a signal — not a promise. The long version is below, and it is the one that counts.
1. What Misdeed is
Misdeed is a community job board for Grand Theft Auto role-play servers. Server owners (Management) post open roles, players file rap sheets, and the two sides can meet in The Chamber for a short live interview. Misdeed is a community-driven tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
2. Adults only
You must be 18 years or older to use Misdeed. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18+. Accounts found to belong to minors will be removed.
3. Your account
Accounts are created through Discord sign-in. You are responsible for your account and for everything posted under it. One person, one account: ban evasion and throwaway burner accounts used to dodge enforcement will be removed.
4. Your content
Rap sheets, city pages, gig posts, and audition tapes remain yours. By posting them on Misdeed you give us a license to display, store, and distribute them on the service so other users can see them. Rap sheets are public by design: if you file it, the City can read it. Do not post personal information about real people, including yourself, that you are not prepared to make public.
5. Verification is a signal, not a guarantee
Steam and Discord checks, forensic risk chips, admin vouches, and the Verified Veteran mark are informational signals based on the data available to us. A vouch is the opinion of the person who gave it. Misdeed does not guarantee that any user is who they claim to be, that any experience claim is true, or that any hire will work out. Server owners make their own hiring decisions.
6. Payments — The Chamber
The Chamber runs on ammo. Current packs: Single Round, $4.99 for 1 credit; The Full Cylinder, $24.99 for 6 credits; and The Drum Mag, $99.99 per month for unlimited spins while the subscription is active. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and expire if your account is closed. The Drum Mag subscription renews monthly until cancelled in your Stripe billing portal or by contacting us.
7. The Identity Tax
Some verification features ask you to put a card on file. This may appear as a small temporary authorization hold (by default $1). It is a hold, not a completed charge, and it is released according to your bank timing. We store only the card fingerprint and last four digits provided by Stripe, never the number itself.

9. Acceptable use
No impersonation of real players, admins, or servers. No knowingly false experience claims. No harassment, doxxing, hate speech, or threats. No spam, fake gigs, or scraped bulk posting. No using Misdeed to organize real-world illegal activity. Role-play is fiction; keep it that way.
10. Enforcement
Management may remove content, mark rap sheets disputed, or close accounts that break these terms or that damage the service or its users, with or without warning. Stolen-valor reports are reviewed by operators; a disputed mark reflects a confirmed report, not a criminal finding.
11. The service itself
Misdeed is provided as-is, while it is available. Features change, cities rise and fall, and the tsunami is not a suggestion. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Misdeed is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including role-play hiring decisions made by third parties.
12. Changes and contact
These terms may change. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions about these terms: reach The Gods through the Misdeed Discord community or by replying to the email address shown on your Stripe receipt.
